Crowne Plaza Canberra Review - Family Hotel Reviews : Best Family Holiday Accommodation and Vacations

Having stayed at this hotel on many occasions we can recommend three room options for families:

  1. Deluxe Rooms - The deluxe rooms provide plenty of space for a young family to spread out. Ensure you book the twin double bed set up for a family of four. Another nice feature of the room is the large windows in the rooms which create a feeling of space and openness, ideal for a family in one room.
  2. Premium Rooms are 40m2 in size and provide plenty of space for a young family with one child. A roll away bed can easily be placed within the room behind the parents’ king bed, providing mum and dad space to relax (in-room dining menu and a movie) while their little one is “fast asleep” behind them.
  3. Deluxe Suites – If you’re a family that enjoys space and privacy the deluxe suites should be considered. These rooms range in size from 59m2 to 89m2 and provide plenty of space for a family to spread out. With all the features of quality hotel suite, this room set up is a perfect alternative for families that would usually book two interconnecting rooms.

When it comes to eating there are plenty of options in Canberra, though if you find yourself at the hotel there is a great choice of dining options including Redsalt Restaurant . The Full Breakfast Buffet in Redsalt is family friendly for any hungry young families with plenty of choice for all those picky little eaters. I witnessed our little ones eating mushrooms and fruit for breakfast. Why won’t they do that home?
